A steward is temporary tenant of a house that became available through the platform. Those stewards are living in a house without paying rent but by a contract in which they state their responsibilities to maintain a property and take care for the owners belongings with it’s attached land.
Besides they become an active Glocal Development Practionar whom regenerates the land and strenghtens its local resilience*. This could be anything, depending on its geographical location and the wishes of both parties.
*resilience is the sustained ability to utilize available resources (energy, communication, transportation, food, etc.) to respond to, withstand, and recover from adverse situations (e.g. economic collapse to global catastrophic risks).
